i have 03 mini cooper s manufactured in 10/2002 with 85k miles.

there was a leak and mechanic told me that there is a problem with cv axle (passenger side). the leak was grease and also found out engine mounts were compressed as well. I researched all the parts from amazon It needs to be replaced.
i think it's really cheaper than other products so anyone who had experience with this part, please let me know how it works.
Do I also need to replace rear engine mount?

Moving you to the Stock Problems/Issues area.

 

Axles-- A1 Cardone Remanufactured. $70 a side. All day. Best bang:buck.

Mounts-- for price, go to pelicanparts.com and select the "OEM supplier" of the required part. Don't go crappy aftermarket on mounts. They'll break in a week.

My actual recommendation (if you can swing it):

• TSW upper mount (lifetime replacement/modification at expense of some NVH) $150
• BSH lower mount is nice too. Will vibrate a lot though. But your shifts will be so deliciously solid.
• Powerflex mount inserts are nice as well. Available on waymotorworks.com
