Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S(R56), and Cabrio (R57).
Before you change any parts and spend a crap load of money in the shop have the ecu reprogrammed and updated. If you have a good relationship with a mini dealer they will probably do it for free. Otherwise I think it’s about $200 to have it done.

I just wonder why I have nerver seen R56 upgrades throttle body. Also can’t find it on market.
no after market, oddball engine doesnt share anything with larger displacement...you may find a bmw with the same bolt pattern but i doubt they'd be interchangable.
and if you have an n18 the throttle body is only used on cold starts after that it goes wide open and vanos controls idle-wot

they make a pretty slick plate for meth injection that mounts right at the throttle body for N-series BMW engines thats the only reason i know they have a similar 4 bolt pattern but never bothered to grab one and see if it does fit
