Code 2885 Boost Deviation Plausibility Error Solution
For those with this problem I just wanted to report what solved it for me. The 2885 code would appear every time I accelerated hard, the engine would go into the reduced power mode. The problem was a worn wastegate shaft going through the turbo housing, or the hole through the housing had widened, either one or both. The shaft had developed considerable play and could be wiggled back and forth.
My solution was to replace the exhaust turbo housing which cost around $170. There are probably other reasons for this code but this was my problem.

Thanks for sharing. I had a similar problem....my wastegate was flopping around causing the 2885. I had the turbo rebuilt (it had 120,000+ on it), and the housing had to be replaced.
