r56 powerfold mirror not indexing correctly
i did a few searches and couldnt find anything so here goes...
this week my wifes 2009 r56 factory JCW car popped up with a few new issues
every once in a great while i will accidentally fold the mirrors up, otherwise we almost never use them
tonight i borrowed the car and noticed the passenger mirror pointing outward too far, when i tried to adjust it, i found it was adjusted all the way in
upon closer inspection i noticed the powerfolder is over rotated and the mirror point too far outboard
does anyone have any ideas? reset procedure?

i am a mechanic
i know the mirror pops out of place if hit, as any other car does
it is not out of place
the mirror was folded up with the power motor, then when it went back, it did not index correctly
just like the power windows do in these cars sometimes
what im wondering is if there is some sort of procedure, like unhook battery, then hit button twice..... something along the lines of fixing the power windows when they stop indexing or partially opening when the door handle is pulled
