R56 Door Sill Plate Lifting

Has anyone found a good replacement for the adhesive on the door sill plates? My driver side was lifting so I removed it this morning to prevent it from getting jammed in the door and damaging the paint and just wondering if anyone has found a good replacement so I won't be doing this again in a couple months. Also do they flatten back out pretty well? Mine holds a lazy U shape now.

Some double sided tape works but if they are pealed up or bent really bad I would just get new ones. They tend to crease on the metal and leave a bend mark. As long as they are not bent 3M double sided tape works good.

The factory ones have a foam version double-sided tape. Make sure you clean the surface with alcohol wipes first

Mine are peeling from both ends. I'm planning to use my hot glue gun
