So its the sunroof? The windows should be closed all the way unless someone reset the window up and down points again?

Use this screw:
Tightening torque is 4 Nm. The screw is only supposed to be used once with some Loctite. You need twelve of them.

If the noise isn't coming from the sunroof, it might be the windows....very hard to tell.
The side windows can appear to be fine...they can go up and down normally, etc., but if the top is even slightly bowed out when it is all the way up, it creates lots of wind noise. Stand outside the car and examine the top of each window....there shouldn't be any gap and you shouldn't be able to pull it away from the rubber seal very much.
if there is a gap, there is an adjustment, but it takes a special tool. You have to take off the outside chrome trim at the base of the window (comes off easily), insert the tool and adjust. I've never done the adjustment....don't have the tool....just watched a MINI Tech do it....it worked for my wind noise.
Good luck!

The wind noise is louder because there isn't a full sunroof shade, just the net-looking thing. I have a '15 GS350 and when that shade is back with the sunroof completely closed, I get wind noise in the cabin.
All of my windows (and the sunroofs) on the Mini close tight but still produce the wind noise. I think I am going to buy some of those carbon fiber spoiler deflectors and see if that helps route the wind upward away from the sunroof weatherstipping.
