Catalytic Converter Recommendations
I have a 2010 Clubman (non-S) with over 150,000 miles, so it is out of warranty. We need to replace the stock Catalytic Converter. I see several options ranging from $208 up to $360 or more. Any brand recommendations? Planning on purchasing in next few days before a short road trip.

No Mini experience but when a converter with a loose "brick" on my Porsche Boxster got so bad I sourced two exhaust manifolds from a salvage business. I made sure both didn't rattle when I shook the heck out of them and nothing came out when I turned them every which way. After I satisfied myself they were at least intact I handled them with care.
Had the "new" manifolds installed and the exhaust was quiet and a persistent CEL/P0430 error code was gone. (The CEL/error code was because of the loose brick in the converter.)
Now I understand in some areas of the US one is not supposed to use used exhaust manifolds. But in these areas there should be recognized suppliers of aftermarket converters that are available for less than the cost of new factory converter.
Have to say though if you can get a factory replacement converter for $208 to $360 that ain't bad. With my Boxster for two new factory exhaust manifolds the cost was over $1000/each. (Ouch!) As it was I paid $450/each for the used ones.

On that car the cat is part of the exhaust manifold. We have found the Magnaflow to be the most cost effective as it is a complete bolt in replacement.

Also it is CARB legal.
