2007 Mini R56 won't start.

hey Guys, I recently got my hands on a 07 mini with 150k on it from an auction house. the car cranks but just won't start. here's a list of stuff I've done so far.
- new battery, old battery was dead.
- new key programmed by the dealer, old key was severely damage.
- new spark plugs and coil.
- there's clearly a check engine light but tried 2 different scan tool and all i get is 0.
-sprayed starter fluid on the intake part of the engine.
-theres fuel coming from the fuel pump.
-all fuses check out ok
any help is appreciated, I always wanted a mini and finally got my hand on one and it has been a money pit.

thanks in advance.

Where are you located?

150k and from an auction, The FIRST thing you need to do is check the timing chain and timing of the car. remove the valve cover and take a look. remove spark plugs and rotate the engine by hand CLOCKWISE. insert two long straws in the first two cyls and try to make the cams line up (there is txt in them that should be facing up)

take pix and post.

So I don't know if the nice weather helped but today i was able to read 3 codes from the computer:
P0117 - think this one has to do with coolant temp sensor, will replace soon and see if it help.
P0100- i think this one is the mass air flow sensor, makes sense since i disconnected it.
P1136 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1) oxygen sensor.
