So in todays episode of trying to replace the oil pan:
Is the mount on the AC compressor supposed to be adjustable to fit the oil pan? The male bracket on the new oil pan is about .050" wider than the original pan, which is keeping the compressor from mounting back to the pan. From the looks of it, there are bushings in the AC compressor that can be moved. The through hole side has a spring pin. Has anyone had this issue before and just opened the mount up? Or am I going crazy trying to fit a pan thats made wrong?

Definitely the delphi unit. The threaded portion on mine appears to be a pressed in threaded insert and looks the same as all the other delphi compressors that come up for minis when I google image them. The fittings look the same as this denso (mine is not denso. This was just a good picture) compressor that ECS posted a while back. Just based on their picture it looks like the spring pin is allowed to move
those pieces can move on the compressor so just slide them apart and then you can install it.
When you get a new compressor they are usually pushed apart all the way and as you tighten it down they move into place.

Awesome that's what I figured after looking at them for a bit. Thanks
