Clutch Slave cylinder bleeding

I know this has been talked about in other post but I’ve tried all those steps and still have a soft pedal so I’ll address what happened to my 06 Mini Cooper S and see if you guys can help me a bit more.

Alright Tuesday evening after getting a fresh wash I was heading home and at a stop sign I made my stop pressed clutch in to try and get into first gear and I couldn’t. At first I thought “F*** my trans is donezoo and stuck in a gear or my clutch is donezo” and forced myself into first gear to get home so right away I ordered my clutch slave cylinder from pelican parts and got it earlier today and replaced the bastard...
here’s where I’m stuck I replaced it with no brake system bleeder thing you attach to the brake fluid reservoir so doing everything manually but my clutch pedal is soft now and when I push it down it doesn’t come up I have to manually pull it back up with my foot?!!! Where did I go wrong here.. did I not bleed correctly ?? Is there still air bubbles in the system ?? Where do I go to next guys?

Oh one more thing just in case this will help you guys point me to my problem, when car is off with/ without pressing down clutch I can enter into every gear perfectly fine.

Any help is helpful I’m only 18 and want my mini up and running as soon as possible I miss driving that German/British headache lol
