Comfort Access Question

I did search, to no avail.....my CA isn't working and my scanner says passenger side antenna faulty. So I checked realoem and it shows several antennas (I have a coupe):

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=MF73-USA-05-2007-R56-Mini-Cooper_S&diagId=61_2098

Does anyone know the location of all of the antennas? Is the passenger side one in the door perhaps?

Edit: please move to 2nd gen r56, sorry mods.

in my countryman, this might be the same for all, the antennas are mounted on the door panels and you might find another one under the rear seat and then another one behind the hatch panel.

can you still lock/unlock using the fob? or it is totally dead and you have to use the key to open the door?

Thanks for the info. I didn't want to rip open my door panel for no good reason. I have seen the antenna in the hatch panel from the pelican DIY, but I haven't seen the other ones located. My key fob still works, but no CA. The prior owner put a new battery in so I would guess it went dead then, or even before that based on the code my scanner pulled. I believe I need the dealer to reprogram my key plus a new antenna now.

did you check the fuses?

usually if an antenna is bad, only that side will be unresponsive. I removed my driver panel and that side is dead. i can still open the trunk and the passenger side though.

This might be a silly suggestion, but run your last 7 numbers of your vin though bimmer.work to verify you actually have CA.

Turns out the dealer just needed to reprogram the key. All is fixed now and working. For a 10 year old car, comfort access is a pretty neat feature to have.
