Airbags deployed, car won't start
Hi all,
I've got a 2003 stock MINI Cooper that was recently involved in a minor accident. There is no visible damage to the car, its front bumper hit another car at about 5mph and the airbags happened to deploy. From what I've been reading it appears something, possibly the Battery Safety Terminal, was tripped when the airbags went.
My question is: in order to get it fixed is it possible to somehow bypass the BST(or whatever is stopping me from starting the car) in order to drive it to a shop without having to tow it?
