Blows humid yet cool air

Over the past couple of months, my MINI has twice, for about 20 seconds each time, started blowing cool but humid air. When this happens, the sound the AC makes is slightly different.
I've heard of blowing hot air, but this air is still cool but it is noticeably more humid. (I do live in the South).

Any advice?

Check if the drain that exits through the bottom
of the car is not clogged.
You should be able to see water dripping down
from it with the ac running on a warm or hot day.

Do you switch to fresh air once the vent temps cool down? I've had moisture/temp issues with past vehicles when I leave the interior circulation button engaged.
