Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S(R56), and Cabrio (R57).
Hi all. I have a 2009 Cooper Gen 2. I have an issue with a pool of oil right above transmission. There is a space that is collecting oil. I have gotten a rag down into it and soaked it up but if I drive and check again it is back. Any ideas?
I'd suggest checking HPFP seal or the Vacuum Pump seal.
Also, there's a manifold pressure sensor right next to the vacuum pump. On 4 Mini's I've worked on, most of them barely have it tight enough, easy to see oil dripping from that end, too.
