2013 R56 missing fuses and diagram descriptions. Harm in filling empty slots?
I bought my MINI used. It’s a 2013 MCS. Carfax showed it was in a frontal crash prior to me owning it. There are quite a few fuses missing but I just don’t know if they were there originally or not. I want to replace these missing fuses but i’m wondering if it’ll do any harm to fuse slots that weren’t originally filled? It runs fine otherwise.
Also, where can I get fuse descriptions to match the diagrams of my fuse boxes? I’ve seen some others posted but they don’t match with my fuse box layout.
Attached are pictures for both engine and cabin fuse boxes. In addition to the fuses, what’s the purpose for the missing RL1 relay in the top left of the cabin box?
Thanks.

The schematics there are a bit hard for me to understand. But according to them, there are actually a few fuses missing that I should have? However some of the places it says I should have fuses in don’t actually have pins for them on the board...
Mainly wondering if completely filling all slots will do any harm if those slots don’t need fuses. And also what the function for RL1 is. I don’t see relays in the schematics.

Some fuse locations will be stuffed or not depending on what options you have. So the first thing to do is run your VIN through the decoder to figure out the options list. Then look up the fuses in the owner's manual. See the list of information sources here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-and-more.html
*****-nilly stuffing fuses into empty slots is going to be a waste of money.

I've looked and looked.... and looked.... NO luck...
I have a 2011 R56-MCS (LCI) .... the fuse box label is a hopeless cause with it's pictograms... and no description of what each fuse if for.
So... broke out the owners manual... less help.
Looked on here... found a good thread for legend of the fuse but for an R53...
Looked on the newtis website... the vaules of the described fuses do not match the values of the underhood fuses.
I'd like to find a legend or diagram or list that has what each fuse and relay is for for BOTH the underhood box and the Right side footwell fuse box....
Any help is MUCH appreciated.
Thanks

1 - What is NOT working on the car? If everything works, there's no need for any more fuses.
2 - the Owners Manual will list all the possible fuses depending on what options were specified - if you don't have an option, you don't need a fuse!
3 - or search these forums or the web for <<< mini r56 fuse box pictograms >>>

That was the first route.... hence the question here... I'm a Jedi-level searcher

But.... I do agree... it seems it would be, prima facia, easy info to find... but not so.
Still interested in finding this out for the LCi R56's
