R56 N18 drinking it(oil)
This seems to be boggling me. I've been told rings someone and valve seals by another.
Here's the deal seems like my N18 drinks oil during the summer months, and a lot less next to nothing in the cold. Right now in the passed 500 miles I think I lost about 1/4 inch on the dipstick, it's been cold in NJ lately. And I have been driving in sport mode a lot and not really babying the car. In the same 500miles in the summer i would say I loose more than 1/2 inch on the stick.
I did have the turbo replaced under warranty in October.
I still get the occasional blue smoke from traffic but not as bad as the summer.
The valve cover PCV is suspect, she has about 20k miles on her. I get a slight vacuum tug on the cap but that is normal.
Any thoughts?
