Is this my supercharger that has gone bad

I found out the problem I removed the belt from the idler pulley and the engine is quiet how it supposed to be, so I need a new supercharger

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. Other potential noise makers are the serpentine belt tensioner, the nearby idler, the alternator and the a/c compressor. Try spinning all those by hand and see if they turn smoothly, or seem to be 'grainy.'
