I have a 2013 Mini Hatch Base. Rebuilt heads. When putting Valve Cover back on noticed the the PCV had a tear. Ordered one online and replaced. I am getting Multiple Misfires codes. Cylinders 1,2, and 4. Car idles rough, below 700rpm. When reved up higher on the street it acts completely normal even though the Yellow Engine Light Stays on.(DOES NOT HICCUP WHEN ACCELERATED)
When driven for an estimate of 10 miles the car starts to act up and goes into limp mode (SAFE MODE).

If anyone could give me some advice as to what too look for next or what other details i can give to help diagnose. It would be very helpful.

First thing is to pull the code(s) to narrow down your problem. Yellow engine light on your tach is usually a BMW/Mini specific code which means you’ll need a specific reader like Carly app or Bimmercode.

Codes are:

P0300 - Random Multiple Misfire
P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire
P0302 - Cylinder 2 Misfire
P0304 - Cylinder 4 Misfire
