JCW BorgWarner turbo part numbers?
JCW 2011 N14 97,000miles (UK)
So I’m repairing a leak at the oil filter gasket and have completely stripped the front down. Whilst I have easy access I’m doing preventative maintenance/mods:
oil feed/return pipes
filter housing (both sets of gaskets)
200cell downpipe
thermostat
Now the turbo has always been noisy, and I’m planning on rebuilding it, as I’ve done a K03 before and it was relatively easy. After popping the intake hose, the compressor wheel blades have loads of small chips, so a new wheel is needed too. The inner sleeve where the air intake connects to the flange has chunks missing,so I’m assuming the culprit...well done Mini
Does anyone know the BorgWarner rebuild kit number for the N14 JCW, I believe it’s a K03 2080? Also the product code for the wheel, which I assume is a 51mm?
Lastly... can anyone recommend any simple turbo mods whilst I am there eg larger wheel/housing, or is it not worth bothering.
Thanks guys
