Fuel filter changed. Got problems...
So I just changed my fuel filter cause I had hit 100k on the R56 S. Replaced top and bottom o rings and middle cap o ring as well. Had to re solder a wire that came loose.
im assuming the blue piece is the pick up for the fuel? It seemed to just be dangling in the tank so I just pushed it back.
Resealed everything and put it back together.
Now two days later my Mini just dies out of nowhere. I did get a random check gas cap code earlier in the day but didn’t think anything of it.
Is there something I’m missing? I can’t get the car to start at all. Currently waiting on a tow truck at the moment.
i was reading that off brand fuel filter kits can cause problems with it being loose or too tight.
I just went ahead and ordered OEM this time around instead of vaico (off brand) see if that helps get everything running.
im not getting any pressure at all.
any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to take my mini to the shop and get robbed.
