Has anyone with leatherette seats had any problems with scoff marks. Our MINI was just 2 week old when I noticed scoff marks on the rider side that appeared. I took it to the dealer and they claimed that scoff marks are not covered by the warrenty and will have to pay someone there to restore it. They claimed that it looked like a zipper may have been involved. Unless I have a zipper across my back I don't how this could have happen. There are no scrapes or tears in the material just the color seems to be worn off. I can not believe that vinyl can be worn this easily. Any thoughts?

No problem with mine either, but you should see the backsides of mine. My 3 year old son thinks they are kick panels and he uses them as such

I have these seats in my car as well. But, have had a different experience. I live in S. Cal. So, during the summer found my slacks always sticking to the seats. Just real uncomfortable. I would move but my pants would not. So, I put on neoprene seat covers. Not only did it add protection, it improved the comfort 100%. My partner got these in his car first. Once I sat on them, I knew these were the key to better comfort and maintenance with the leatherette seats.

Where did you get your seat covers? Did you find the same colors? Thanks for any help.

Check out Option 5 (which was just added to the Build Your Mini section of miniusa.com). I have also seen seat covers at some of the Mini accessory and mod web retailers; unfortunately, I cannot remember which ones.

Also, if you want something more durable (but perhaps less stylish), check the thread regarding Minis and animals. Someone started a thread with a great seat cover tough enough to handle a dog.

Good luck, and tell us if you like whatever you buy.

A good weekend to all!

No problem with the leatherette seats...but I did get a set of lambs wool seat covers in black that fit over the seats perfectly...they are made by Car Care...I found them in Auto Barn here in New York...seats are much more comfortable and you do not stick to them...
