Valve replace

Hey guys, have a 2010 r55. Exhaust valve burned up in cylinder 3. So, going to send the cylinder head out to be machined etc etc. My question is, are there any sort of specialty tools i need other than the timing tool set?

Doing crankshaft sprocket for the timing chain? I like to use the crank holder that uses the pulley holes to not put all of the torque onto the locking pin.

I have no idea yet. This stuff is beyond my experience/knowledge so im getting help doing it. Was just asked to find if there's any specialty tools. But i believe we were using the pin

cpmetz is referring to this tool. There's serious torque applied to the crank bolt and using only the flywheel locking tool to keep the crank from turning isn't a good idea.

This pic is part of a highly recommended repair procedure --- https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/r...aft/1VnY7d2Xnh

I used this:
Amazon Amazon

Says timing tool, but I only used the crankshaft holder with a breaker bar as extension in addition to a regular Mini timing set. Saves you a couple bucks compared to the regular crankshaft holder with the longer handle.
