R56 Radio Display Replacement

New on this subject, but seem to also have the issue where when the mini is hot at the end of the work day, I get in and the Radio Display is unreadable. Plays fine, just the display is bad.
Next morning all is well again.
How many different Radios models are there?
Are they all affected?
How do I find what Radio model I have? (I have AM/FM, CD, Aux input 6 speaker)
If anyone knows a Fix for the display, please reveal the secret sauce!

Hold the M button down for 7-10 seconds to get into test mode for the display. It is the Alpine CD73 part you want. Lots of BMW models use this same LCD in addition to MINI. Everyone seems to be out of stock these days so they must have quit making them. You can find them on ebay though. It is not a small task to fix yourself. Once you have the radio out of the dash, you have to take it apart to de-solder a couple places, then re solder to put back together. There are some places out there that advertise they will repair for you if you send your radio to them. They quote about $300. You still have to get the radio out of your dash which is not trivial in the first place.
