U0101 & P0503 2010 Mini Cooper S
Hope someone out there has some pointers for me. My 2010 Mini Cooper s Automatic broke down at work. Drove in fine then just wouldn’t start at the end of the day. It had a code P15E8 so I changed out the temp sensor. Still wouldn’t fire. I went back to the basics. Air- check Spark- check Fuel- nada. When spraying starting fluid I could get it to start to fire and run but definitely not getting fuel. I ordered a new in tank fuel pump (high pressure pump was changed last year). But today for some reason my drivers window was cracked open. Now I have a U0101 & P0503 code that wasn’t there before. It has been parked for about 3 weeks now. Let me know if you have any ideas on where to go from here.
Thanks in advance

So worked on it today. No evidence of moisture (greenish look on wiring). Installed the in tank fuel pump. And still no fuel to the HPFP. So I did a bench test and the pump turns on with 12v applied. Only code that will pop up is P15E8 which I already changed out the temp sensor and air freed the system. Is it sounding like the fuel pump relay is bad??? Or could there be something else keeping it from sending power to the pump?

Yep it will start with starter fluid.
I started searching and found this one on eBay any chance you can let me know if it will be compatible?
Current fuse box in car
Found one on eBay only one set of numbers don’t match will it be compatible without programming???

yes, this should be fine...most important number is the 3455527. the other maybe a production date. generally speaking, if the donor car has similar options specially with transmission type, you should be fine. if yours is a manual and the donor is auto, you'd need to code it. coding takes about less than 5 minutes.

I got my fuse box in the mail took be a bit to install. Fired up fine. Defiantly was something from there causing the issue. Here are pictures of the bad one I can see no evidence of water damage or burnout. Hope this can help someone in the future. Also my P15E8 cleared after I started it up.
