R56 grounding comb

Hey guys. I took off the front bumper to chance the intercooler. And i took notice that the grounding comb behind the passanger headlight was broke pretty badly. And some of the brown ground wires were nicked and green on connectors. Is it ok to eliminate the comb and just ground all the wires together with new ends?

I dont think there should be an issue...you could also solder the wires the body of the comb.
