DME returned with problems

Greetings,

I sent my DME out for diagnosis and repair. I kept getting a PCM voltage high error code. And there were some drive ability issues. 3 different mechanics verdict is a bad DME. A company advertised they can repair my DME. I sent it off and get it back. The error P0678 is still there, and now I have a DSC lamp on, the one next to the parking brake lamp, and another error code for U0101 Transmission Control module not present. My 08 Mini Cooper S is a 6 speed Manual. Does DSC come on manually equipped Minis? Do 6 speed Minis come with a transmission control module? I fear that they potentially have misprogrammed the DME. On another note the car is running a lot better though.

they probably reflashed the ECU thinking it was a software issue. I would ask them for what they did and let them know of the extra codes you got. to answer the question though, you need to reset the variant values and adaptations. toolset 32 can do it.
