Help with electrical system....Please???

Working on my son's 2004 R50. It's been in the BMW shop for three weeks to replace the power steering pump and fan (a common problem with Mimi's...as you all know). The shop called us to say they had replaced the pump and fan with a new pump and fan, but could not get it to work. We could pay (more or less) $500, according to them to find the electrical problem or come pick up the car. We plan to sell the car since my son bought a "family" sized car.
Got it home and decided to "delete" the power steering completely. I unhooked the battery while removing the power steering pump, fan, reservoir, and the rest of the components. Used a "power steering delete UHMW" from Urotuning and followed their direction. Also removed the 100 amp. fuse located under the fuse box located under the hood on the left front of the car as their directions recommend.
Hooked the battery back up. Now: No cluster guages, no headlights, 4-ways work, radio works, interior lights OK, brake lights work. No heater or AC. All fuses checked and are OK. Relays checked and SEEM to be ok also. Three of the fuses in the driver's compartment have no power. Two fuses in the fuse box under the hood have no power. Starts and drives fine!
What am I missing? Very confused. This car with 177,000 miles will probably go to the junk yard if I can't find the problem.
Any ideas gratefully accepted.
