Code help

Can someone help me with these codes I'm getting. I dont have TPS sensors in my new wheels so one may be that. But the yellow triangle light comes on and I get these codes. Thanks for any help. Mark

The first one is a bad abs sensor to the right rear wheel (or in my case turned out to be a bad abs module).

Dont know about the second one but 3rd on I got when I unconnected the dash gauges and reconnected them. Steering Angle Sensor needed recalibrated.

Thanks but how come I dont get any ABS light on dash. Also I did unplug my tach when I installed my boost guage but I disconnected the battery so it wouldn't effect anything. Do you think it still could have effected the steering angle sensor. The yellow triangle warning light started coming on after I did the boost guage. The wierd thing is the yellow triangle doesn't come on all the time now. Sometimes it's on then I shut the car off and it stays off.

How did you recalibrate the steering angle sensor. Please tell me it has to be done at the dealer.

Removing the tach caused it even though the battery was disconnected.

you need to have the stealer or a garage do it. My son is a mechanic and has a good scanner and it does this stuff. All the codes may be related to removing the tach. Interesting enough the right rear abs sensor also drives the speedometer and the tach is connected to the same module.

So strange because the boost and volt guages I installed were actually oem from mini and followed their directions and nowhere does it tell you you will have to have a recalibration done or codes cleared after doing the install which they know you'll be unplugging the tach. I wonder what software is needed to clear it. I have a handheld scan tool that can clear codes but can't recalibrate things. I dont think. It's the foxwell one. I appreciate the help.

I've disconnected my tach before without having to do anything special afterward.

I did it last week diagnosing my abs problem and had to recalibrate the steering angle afterwards.

Hah. Just realized. I doubt I even have a steering angle sensor since I don't have stability or traction control.

No I'm the one with the code and I do have DTC. I've read you can calibrate the sensor by turning the wheel fully to the left and right a few times then stopping on center. Not sure if that's with all bmw or minis.

Yeah. No codes here, but I realized I was probably giving bad (but true) info. I didn’t really think through the whole reason for a steering angle sensor when I first said that I never had any problems. Oops. I didn’t check the asc/dsc/whatever box when I ordered my car.

Ok well I recalibrated my steering position sensor and cleared the codes with my foxwell nt510 elite and took it for a,drive. A few minutes later pulling out of a driveway the DSC light flashed a few times and went off then after maybe 10 minutes I came to a stop and when I turned the corner the light came on solid. Running the codes again now.
