2007 cooper s cranks, tries to start but wont
I have been fighting with this thing since January. I had two codes stored then: p1637 - Throttle valve position control, control deviation and p1638 - Throttle valve position control; throttle valve temporarily stuck. I cleared the codes and then the car refused to start. I removed and cleaned the throttle valve, no good. So I replaced the valve and still nothing. I replaced the HPFP last February. As of now, I have done the in tank pump, a new fuel filter, throttle body, spark plugs, ignition coils all since January and I still cannot get the thing to start. It tries to start (partial ignition) but wont. I even swapped out the ignition relay with a new one and still nothing. Any ideas?

UPDATE: I got him running this morning. Found a reset procedure and it worked.
Procedure:
1: Ignition off, throttle pedal to floor.
2: With pedal to floor, key switch to third position (for push button start, put key in and push start button but do not crank)
3: Keep pedal pressed to floor for 30 seconds
4: With throttle still pressed to floor, turn Ignition off and remove key (do not let go of throttle)
5: After key is removed, let go of throttle and wait 30 seconds
6: After 30 seconds, car should start.
