Headlight level sensor part

Hey guys, I’m looking for a part for my 07 mcs and cannot seem to find it anywhere. Attached is a picture, it is the arm that attaches to the rear headlight level sensor. Part is marked with bmw 3713 6752797 01

I haven’t been able to find just the arm, I have a new sensor but the picture arm is cracked (obliviously) and the ball joints on each end are so rusted that they won’t move. Anyone now where I can find this? I’ve thought about just looking at hardware stores for something that’ll work or maybe use or maybe see if a turnbuckle for like a 1/5 scale RC or similar would work. Any thoughts?

ps. I tried minimania but apparently their website has been down for a few days as I can’t get into it

A simple search for 3713 6752797 reveals a 1st generation part:

this site didn’t come up when I searched the part number, no link to buy from that website, and I’d would have to look to see if the regulating arm (finally have a name for it yay!) for a gen1 is the same length and hardware size as a gen2 as that website doesn’t have the gen2 listed as a vehicle that part is for

I saw they had sensors with the arm and brackets. My brackets are good and I just got a new sensor. But I guess I might have to get all of them if that’s the only thing I can find. Gonna call mini and bmw next to see if they can get me just the arm

My guess is that BMW/MINI combined the existing, 1st generation part with the sensor itself into one "piece", creating a new part number.

Since the price for the rod individually is less than € 10,- (I'm looking at part catalogues of an authorised german BMW dealer since BMW's and MINI's online catalogues are down for service at the moment), I'd just order one to see if it can be exchanged by itself.

btw: the 1st generation has the same rod both in the front and the back.

1st generation:

2nd generation:

Update so far. In the mean time I took the ball joints out and wire wheeled the rust off them (they aren’t too ball shaped anymore). They move very freely and I added some grease in there to hopefully help them move and prevent or slow down rusting/seizing up again. Trying different materials I currently have hot glued the arm back together (tried epoxy in the past and doesn’t work well), but I think I will have to find some flexible epoxy to try and get it with. I might also “weld” the plastic back together on the side. Won’t know if any of this holds until I get the car running again but I cycled the suspension a few times with a Jack and nothing immediately popped off.
