OK,

This has happened several times and I do not want to ask the dealer about it until I have to or until I get some info from all of the MINI experts here....

If I wind her up over the 6k RPM mark the DSC light will come on and stay on until I shut the car off and restart.

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Try keeping your foot in it and bounce off the rev limiter,that may shut off the light

 

I think I'll pass..... no ideas anyone?

What version of software are you currently running? Have you got a boost gauge hooked and if so, what reading does it show at WOT?

Don't know the version it is a Oct. built 05' and I do not have aboost gauge. I'll check out the other thread
