Timing chain disaster

A couple days ago, I replaced my camshaft and rocker arms. I thought I did everything right but when I went to start the car, it seems like the timing chain slipped off the big sprocket completely and slashed off a bit of the camshaft position sensor. It also broke the timing chain guides, so I'm going to go ahead and replace those parts. I know I'm going to have to fish out the broken bits of chain guide and sensor, is there any where else I should look for bits of parts?

I would drain the oil and drop the oil pan to check for bits.

Did you make sure that the chain tensioner was engaged before starting the car?

probably need to replace valves, this is an interference engine, valves will have smashed into the pistons. Running with chain damage wrecks the valves. Sorry for the bad news. Only way yo know is to strip, head off.
