Half Filled CEL, misfires in all cylinders.
Hello,
I drive a 2009 r56 mini cooper s, manual. 150k miles. The other month, the car would stall after starting, obdII gave misfire codes, replaced the hpfp boom its fixed! (This car sucks to work on...) Last week, the problem is back, except this time the car was nice enough to include the half filled CEL on the dash. If it's any help, ever since I replaced the hpfp the cabin has smelled like gas. I'm not getting worse mpg. I would inspect the hpfp but I don't exactly know how to do that. Is the hpfp just faulty and I should get it replaced (I have warranty), or could it be the lpfp, or something else?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

1/2 engine light = Limp mode and will have a BMW/Mini specific code associated with it. Have that read, otherwise it's a guessing game. Regarding the fuel smell, did you damage the low pressure fuel line connection coming into the HPFP? Those little tabs can break pretty easy, especially with the age of the car. No smell before fuel pump change, now smell after, I'd look at that connection as the source, once you've confirm the hard line to the fuel rail is tight.
