Is my rear strut mount bushing deformed?

I've been trying to hunt down a clunking sound coming from the passenger side rear for a while now. I finally pulled the strut and found the upper mount can shift around pretty easily? Here's a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Aj6...ew?usp=sharing
Is this normal? Or is the bushing bad?

Sorry, would have pulled the mount off to get a better look at the bushing, but I don't have spring compressors yet.

You don't need to use spring compressors. A pair of small ratchet straps from Harbor Freight will do nicely.

Got it. Should the strut mount be wiggling that much though?

Yep mine is tight. Bottom part of that foam likes to go first. I did them on both My MINIs.
If you have aftermarket struts like koni or some coilovers you use their metal sleeves or the original sleeves with new bushings, go poly if you want to do it once and not again.
