I saw an article in a european car magazine that discussed the possibility of a V6 205 HP version of the Cooper that BMW was considering down the road. The article even included drawings of the proposed version. It looked very aggressive with wider fenders to accomodate the larger wheels and tires and included a V6 badge on the grille. I wish I could tell you what magazine it was in, but I only saw the article!

My dealer said they were getting or upgrading a CooperS this fall. The official 200hp cooper S will be the John Cooper works convertion. In North America, I believe you will have to get the upgrade done at your dealer you won't be able to order them as a factory option(much like the aerokits).

If the dealer does it and there is a warantee, I'm absolutely going to do this! I'm psyched!

Before the S came around, John Cooper Works did a Works version of the Cooper that boosted it to 132hp. I wonder if that version will also be available?

But if the MCS starts to become standard with the Works upgrade, what will this do to the cost?
