I used that one on my last removal....with no success. In all fairness, the factory pulley was re-installed with heat...so the fit was probably tighter than from the original installation. I warped the center pivot disk of this puller...I wonder if Mini Mania would send me a new piece? For an "ordinary" removal, this unit should be slick.
I'd send you mine, but it needs a new pivot piece for the bolt end.
Did a pulley party this past weekend and used the DINAN puller. It is a full circle pulley with a rotation stop installed. It was sweet, since it wrapped around the entire pulley no stress what so ever. We did six pulley in about 5 hours, including doing a 2005 automatic (which is royal pain in the ***). If I had to do them all the time I would have me a DINAN Puller.
