Does a stroker kit exist for the MINI anywhere? (Is that even possible with this block?) Is there another engine that could fit in the MINI with limited modifications? A blown cylinder is the instigation for this search - I did some searches here and didn't see anything. (BTW, It's not my car - just trying to help a friend do a little research.) Any input or suggestions welcome.


PS. I'm a bit of a newb in this arena - and while I'm handy, I'm not mechanically savvy - so go easy on me with details!

 

As it turns out, the valve broke off and blew through the piston, which subsequently melted itself all over the place. It's not pretty at all. I might be able to get pics tomorrow.

Appears that it will have to be a complete replacement - unless someone can give any direction on a bore kit? ....Can't seem to find any pistons that would fit.

Ideas? Suggestions?
