PDC not working

Humm it seems that my PDC does not beep anymore. I had the wife stand behind the car when I was backing up and shure enough no beep-beep-beep. She will recover in several weeks and she will only be on crutches for 3 months. Just kidding. That small little car cant hurt noone.

Really though. Has anyone had there PDS stop working? Looks like I need a trip to see Lamont.

Check for a blown fuse and make sure the power steering fan is not clogged I think they are on the sane circuit. Every time mine goes out its always been the fuse.

I think

the Power Steering fuse is the 5 amp in the fuse panal in the engine bay. the other location for fuses is in the driver side foot well.

Its a 5amp fuse.....I know because shortly after adding a rear backup light (replaced the black plug on my '05) I kept blowing this fuse. I believe it was due to PDC, factory backup lights + the added one in the bumper was too much amperage. Put in a 7.5a and problem solved.
