Anyone knows what that is?

Just got some rock damage underneath the car (don't ask ), right behind the right front wheel. Ripped off some of that paste looking thing (see pictures), not sure what it is.
Anyone knows? and should I fix it? (my guess was it's some type of anti corrosion material, hence my concern)

Thanks for the help!

Looks like brushable seam sealer. Check any good parts store or a parts store that carries painting supplies.

id just put a dab of enamel paint on the black bracket that got scratched... the seal area, i'd put either sound deadening/rust proofing spray on it or just leave it... no biggie.

yeah by the looks of the bottom of the car the rock didn't get down to the metal. so it shouldn't rust. but if you want you could resel it with some sort of under body paint/sealer

Dude,

Looks like some of the "Undercoating" that's all. You know, the stuff that keeps the car from rusting. It can be replaced, but if it were me and it really bothered me I would apply some good old enamel paint and keep on turcking

i highly doubt that you mushroomed the shock towers. most of the time it takes a pretty serious impact on the wheel to do that. i've seen the wheels actually break inot 2 pieces before the shock tower gets mushroomed on a mini.
