Flat tire warning light failure

Flat tire warning light failure
Hi folks. Started to say guys but our '04 Mini S is the wife's so I would not want to be assumed a chauvanist. Just joined.
My problem. I had a fairly major repair done on the Mini, smacked a curb on the left side and suspension components on both the front and rear were repalced recently. On our last trip, last weekend, the flat tire light sarted flashing, no audible and the tires are at 32#, the original run flats. The manual says this indicates a sensor failure. The dealer, Baron in KCKS is 200 miles away, and I have no comprehensive shop manual. Does anyone know what type of sensor reads a flat tire? Where are they? Are they a rumble auditory sensor or a vibration sensor? The car feels fine, no undo vibration.
Thanks for any help you can provide. And yes we do have a T-bird, a '60, but I originally had a '59.

You need to drive a few miles after performing the reset procedure. It's because of how the flat tire monitor works. You need to drive a few miles and the light should go out.

Mine works great and will sense a 3 lb difference with run flats on.
Get yourself a good quality air gauge, it will pay for it’s self it extra mileage.
