06 MCS car hits a flat spot

Hey crew. He is my delima. I just installed new Alta 19% SC pulley and a CAI. When I have been driving lately. I am shifting from 2-3 gear around 2000-3000 RPM. totally flat spot. like its starving for fuel.Soon as Bring it higher it goes away. I only run Premium fuel. 91 Octane. Socal. Before I did the Mod's. I did not experience. I talked to the Jeff @ ALTA. He told me about Remapping. and installing a larger intercooler.

My question is. Who do you Rec to do Remapping . the MTH thing doesn't really water my whistle. Plus I dont have a labtop. to do it.

I need this resolve or I will installed my old parts agin. I am not happy with it. higher RPM's its fine. Its almost when I short shift it. Tell me. What does everyone usuallt shift at. as a daily drivers. do you take it to 4-6000 I only have about 1000 miles on it.

Now that you have 1000 miles, your engine is basically broken in (if you are among the people that follow manufacturer's recommended break in procedure). So now you can shift where you are meant to, at higher rpm

for my day to day casual driving, I usually shift at around 5k or so. ..

my car has a flat spot around 3k rpm too from v42. it's kinda annoying
when you're accelerating slightly faster than normal. im running a 15%
reduction. i don't plan to change maps though. i just got use to it.

MTH Tuner newest version (version 7) gets rid of the flat spot! And it adds a lot of HP too!

You could borrow a friend's laptop, and cable, or ask for it here. I'm sure someone lives near you and will be glad to help you.
