grounding Nology Hotwires

For those of you that have installed Nology Hotwires on your car... where did you connect the capacitor ground wires? I couldn't find a decent ground. Help!

I used the rear mounts for the IC, close and secure.

I have a GRS intercooler so although there are no mounting points on the rear of the GRS I should still be able to mount them there with the bolts I took out (in the original holes) ...right? Your picture was helpful, thanks!

My only concern with using the rear mounts in that situation would be rubbing on the underside of the GRS. If that appears to be a problem, you could use one of those grounding kits that are floating around. PM 62Lincoln, last I knew he had one installed and was offering pictures.

I'm not sure it would work. The grounding points tie in to the chassis basically around the perimeter of the engine bay. It appears the Nology wires need a grounding point at or near the head (due to the length of the grounding wires). I'll still be glad to forward the pics if you think they might help, pm me and let me know.

Before installing Nology wires, you should read the Magnecor information about Ignition Cables on this page at Magnecor.

You won't get more power or better ignition from new wires, and the only real reason is if you like pretty colors around your engine. If you want pretty colors, I'd suggest Magnecor instead, as the Nology grounded design is useful mainly for demonstrating prettier sparks.

(I have no connection whatsoever with either firm.)

I already have the Nology wires installed, now it's just a matter of grounding them properly. I may just try a grounding kit.

The Kingsborne wires are 'plug n play'. They are non-capacitive and don't need to be grounded.
