Whats the deal?
While my 03 MCS is in the shop, the dealer gave me a 05. Its so much quicker Not at the top end, but it has alot more low end, is that all ecu tuning? Will the GIAC help this?

it feels quicker cause it has shorter gearing....

alright, that was my thinking, but it just had better low end. Just wanted to make sure...

Wasn't there also a small bump in HP as of 2005?

yeah but...10 hp...that's not enought to tell...but the gear really is..plus you shift so much faster it's almost like you are going faster...LOL but your not

There are a number reasons the '05s are quicker. Lighter crank pulley, better ECU tuning, improved (less back pressure) exhaust are some reasons. Taken together, the '05s are quicker as you have noticed.
