While my 03 MCS is in the shop, the dealer gave me a 05. Its so much quicker Not at the top end, but it has alot more low end, is that all ecu tuning? Will the GIAC help this?

yeah but...10 hp...that's not enought to tell...but the gear really is..plus you shift so much faster it's almost like you are going faster...LOL but your not
There are a number reasons the '05s are quicker. Lighter crank pulley, better ECU tuning, improved (less back pressure) exhaust are some reasons. Taken together, the '05s are quicker as you have noticed.
