One doesn't have to be an English major to form a sentence, as even someone with "too much" missed classes can tell you.

If your car ends up on the cover of Ricer Weekly, you have done "too much" mods. However, it really depends on what your mods are. "Too much" cosmetic mods could give the car an incongruous look. The ever-popular angular-looking wheels combined with a plank-style kevlar marketing wing are a great way to ensure that your car is well on its way to looking like a surgery freak. If you're putting neon lights on the bottom of your car, take a minute to consider what you are doing. Beyond that who is to say how much is too much?

This is true MODist speaking - after that, the only remaining item .... after that I'm done .... the only other thing ......

As I said earlier, the pleasue of MODding is in the journey, when your done your done and your no longer a MODist. I highlight Bugs comments not to poke fun a him (okay, just a little ) but because this represents true MODist speak.

I started out with a 4 mod plan (pulley, CAI, 1-ball & pulley) but after number 4, I too began to talk MODist speak - see sig list and I'm still talk'in the talk'in - MTH next !

When your car goes fast enough to spend more time air borne than on the road you have gone too far, until then make it your own and just make sure you're having fun with your MINI and taking care of her.

Its clear that some people are still in the "googly-eye" stage, like a first Love. If so, you can't see "others"

I will still claim that once the eye starts to roam ... ballgame is over

This is the reason I bought my 06 w/JCW. I will get good power, handling and great factory drivability. Might not be as fast as some moded Minis out there, but I will enjoy the car for many years to come. Some flog the JCW for it's initial price, but it seems many end up paying more in the long run for a setup that is not as well balanced.
