Mirror vibration

Mirror vibration
My rear view mirror has started to vibrate every so slightly which makes all vision thorugh it appear fuzzy and slightly out of focus. If I lightly touch my finger to the bottom of the mirror housing it stops and the view is again sharp. Before I pulled it apart, I figured I'd ask if there is some way to adjust or tighten the joint that holds the mirror in place?

Same here...
You are not alone on this one... I see the same vibration in the rear view mirror espically when slowing down through the rpm range 3000 & less.
I have attributed it to the overall design of the windshield and the mounting for the mirror itself. As you mention a slight touch is enough to take the "shake" off the mirror. This is really changing the resonance frequency of the mounting.. So perhaps making it lighter or heavier will shift the shake to a different (and hoepfully less occuring) frequency..
If/when your changes result in an improvement, please send back an update on what you did.
Thanks
