pics of my new mymini intake!!

whats up everybody, i picked up my MyMini cold air intake. i love it. i put it on in about 10 min and took it for a spin, im more than pleased. plus the whine of the super charger is outstanding.
here is what i like about this intake. it opens up the firewall to let colder air in that comes from the cowl vents (unsure of correct name)..and soon im pretty sure Pete is going to start producing intakes for the driver side vent. much larger than the ones out now.
second of all i love how open the box itself is. i think its somthing like 22-24 cubic inches of airflow.
this intake was super easy to install and performance aswell as looks are fantastic. i recoment this product to anybody looking for an intake.
thanks again Pete!
here are some pics

it is similar, the MyMini air box enclosure is a little bigger. the webb sits next to the ecu box while the mymini box encases it. so its slightly larger.

I found it under the "new products" area - here's the link:

http://www.myminiparts.com/proddetai...d=CCAK4&cat=13

It does look a lot like the one from WMS, and about the same price...

All the intakes on the market for the MCS will fit the MCSa as long as you don't get the replacement intake hose. Alta is almost finished with a replacement hose which will fit the MCSa.

Does the Alta replacement hose make any difference?
I have the JCW intake and was wondering about this hose.
(okay, okay, you caught me; I really like it because it's RED!)

The hose replacement issue has been argued up and down. Alta says it helps make an additional 4hp. This was proved several months back by a vendor. I know a few folks who have used the Alta hose with the JCW intake.

i personally looked at the stock intake hose and i cant see how you could get 4 hp from it. i would thinking money could be better spent. hmm intresting.
the stock hose is also smooth inside minus about 3-4 small creases for the elbo. its not a mirror of the outside wich i thought.
