CD Player question...pls help

So my radio will show titles of songs on those stations that are already digital....however, when i put in an MP3 cd...it won't show me the titles of the songs I'm playing. How do I get it to do that? It has to be capable of it if it can do the radio like that. All I see is TR-001 when I play a cd.

Thanks for the help!

I have a 2006 Mini S by the way in case that's relevant.

Yeah I was all excited that I finally got a car radio that had the RDS features AND played my mp3 cd's! But unfortunately the mp3 ID3 tags aren't being picked up by the deck :(. Seems like a simple thing to have displayed but i suppose that and a Pause button were not high on the priority list...

Yeah I made sure it did before I sold my old car with my good ol' Premier $600 mp3 player in it by searching a bunch of websites. lol
I just wish mini/bmw spent a little bit more money on the cd player...Its great that it plays mp3 and has the RDS features. (so hard to find a RDS/PTY aftermarket decks out there!).
FYI, the on/off button acts as a decent Pause button

It plays MP3's inside one level of folders too

You can separate my songs into albums.
Our MINI's stock CD players also play CD-RW's.
