Here is an option

Take a look at this ... If it's flex this would cure it

M7 Under Strut System - Lower Brace
$329 - SKU#10033

Now Available for pre-order!

Our new Under Strut System will ship towards the end of January.

Order before the end of January and get this incredible system at an introductory price of $329.

After months of rigorous testing at local racetracks, treacherous canyon roads and sweeping on-ramps and off-ramps, we are ecstatic to finally release the M7 Under Strut System (USS).

Not many upgrades will force you to say "damn that's incredible," or just plain "wow." This system, with it's 3 integrated pieces, will brace, connect and triangulate the bottom of the chassis for greatly improved chassis stiffness. This improved stiffness will give the MINI better turn-in capability allowing the car to rotate into the corners with ease, also greatly reducing understeer.

The M7 Under Strut System comes in a glossy black powder coated finish, greatly reducing the chances of chipping and corrosion.

Material: Extruded and CNC machined aluminum with stainless steel fasteners
Weight: < 10lbs including hardware
Installation time: < 1hour
Included: All hardware and tools for nut inserts

The M7 USS works with the MCS, MC, and incredibly well with the Convertible.

finally i find a topic about the sunroof creaking under chassis flex. whew!

my sunroof creaks when i'm taking an inclined driveway/hump going to the left (passenger side wheel of a LHD Mini hitting the incline first)

BUT...

...when i take the incline the other way, it doesn't creak that much/loudly. what gives?

Might want to add the TSW X Brace to your MINI to help with the flex.

I've noticed this as well! Before I saw this, I was wondering if maybe my car was in a wreck before I bought it!

I couldn't tell, is yours a dual panel? What year MINI is it?

Mine started developing a really loud sunroof POP just as it was getting closer to the end of the warranty period. When the car was in for its last visit, I had the service guys look into it. Initially, they tried all the other 'fixes' (insulating strips and such) - none of these worked. They ended up replacing the entire sunroof assembly!

There's no more squeaks, pops, or other unusual noises from my sunroof now.

I am a bit paranoid that my roof will develop leaks now, though... Wasn't terribly impressed with the other work they did to my car while it was in...
