Wierd brake bleeding experience
Changing the brake fluid last week went normal, except for the drivers side rear. On that caliper only a spurt of fluid came out. More attempted brake bleeding did not allow any more fluid to pass. On all the other calipers I was able to pump all the old fluid out.
I used the two person method (one in the car: pump, pump, hold; the other at the caliper). I did the passenger rear caliper first, then drivers rear, passenger front, drivers front in that order. Never pumped the reservoir emptier than the "min" line. I have changed brake fluid on other cars many times, but this was my first time on the MINI.
Car drives well, brakes seem to work normally, even high-speed panic stops are OK. It bothers me that one caliper couldn't be bled properly, and there may still be old fluid and possibly air inside.
Any idea what went wrong here and how I can bleed that one caliper until the fluid is completely changed?
Thanks!
