Hood scoop removal instructions

I searched all of the forums and was unable to find any instructions on how to remove the stock hood scoop in my 03 Cooper S. Has anyone ever removed theirs to replace it and can send some instructions or advice my way?
Thanks in advance,
Lyns

To search, instead of looking through the fourms, you can click search at the top right. I searched bonnet scoop removal.

The reason there's no instructions out there is that it's pretty simple. 2 phillips head screws and 2 10mm nuts hold on the inner piece (the diverter),
another 2 10mm nuts hold on the part that shows. Remove them and take the pieces off and you're good to go. Be careful not to drop the screws or nuts, an don't over-tighten the nuts when re-installing.
